Publishing on Amazon

Yesterday, I stumbled onto a tutorial that seemed pretty clear and straightforward on how to get your self-published book on Amazon, which would allow people to read your book on a Kindle E-Reader, a Smart Phone, or on a PC.

The article also goes into pricing your book and marketing ideas.

So, if you’re at that point in publishing your book, check out: How to Self Publish and Market an eBook on Amazon.

  1. Thanks for the tips, will check out the link. I've bought so many books on Amazon the last years, so maybe it's time to try to publish something as well >:)

  4. I haven't self-published. I believe that's the reason I still have hair on my head. But maybe if it's really simple to do, I wouldn't pull it all out.

  13. I actually read that article before. It's definitely one way to go for new authors, especially if you're having trouble getting a contract from a pub hs or and agent.

  14. Thanks for the link, Helen. I'm hoping this article also applies to out-of-print books. I have some that I'd like to convert to Kindle but have been procrastinating because of time constraints and the lack of know-how.

  16. Amazon really is a huge beast though I'm not sure if it's good or evil. They are pushing the ebook market. I love that they're doing ads on TV for the Kindle.

  17. Theresa, I know that petrified feeling.

That "lack of know how" certainly stops me.
