A while back, I got smacked with the Happy Stick. Now, Vivian Zabel has thrown lemons at me. She’s not, however, trying to hit me with them. She’s given me the “When Life Gives You Lemons, Make Lemonade” Award.I’m honored. I’m guessing she read my post about having to go have an author picture taken and she’s hoping I’ll take that lemon, squeeze the life out of it and somehow come out with a glass of sweet lemonade.

We were having lemonade weather - I think it was in the 70s yesterday - but we're supposed to drop to freezing today. It won't last but a day though.
ReplyDeleteBrrr weather here. The ground was covered with ice yesterday, accidents everywhere. Today there is an inch and a half to two inches of sleet on top of the ice and 19 degrees.

Thanks for the lemon/lemonade award, Helen. If you like your lemonade good and cold, just put it out on the deck. It's cold and rainy here but no ice or snow (they're saving that for tomorrow).

I tell ya what, you people need to move south. Seriously. We're dipping toward freezing, but it'll be gone in 24 hours. I'm saving my lemonade until this weekend when I'm gonna sit outside, soak up some Vitamin D, and take a nap. Sounds like ya'll will be making lemonade popsicles.
