Writers Resource Site: Ask Angela

The “Angela” in Ask Angela is Angela Wilson, “freelance publicist and book blog host diva.” She writes columns on marketing your novel. Sometimes she posts on a daily basis; sometimes weekly. You might want to subscribe to her RSS feed so you’ll be notified of new posts.

As a writer, you’ll find lots of useful information on her blog. Take a look at her post called, “The Art of Critique.” If you’re a published author, check out posts like “Fresh Ideas for the Marketing Weary” or “What You Should Know Before You Hire a Publicist.”

She offers advice on using FaceBook, Twitter, video clips and MySpace. You want to know how to conduct an online contest? Look at her October post called “What’s the Best Way to Conduct a Virtual Contest?”

Her blog is only a little over two months old, but so far it has a lot to offer. If she keeps having great posts, it’ll be a valuable resource for writers, both unpublished and published.

  1. Yes, Angela has a great site and very good articles. I'm fortunate that she's hosting my blog tour the week of December 8-14.

  7. Angela has developed herself as an expert in a short amount of time but she has sound advice and everyone would be wise to listen. =)

  8. Thanks Julie. I don't know Angela personally, but she does seem to know her business.

  9. Angela has been gracious enough to share her posts with me. On Thursdays, we run the Ask Angela column also at http://morganmandel.blogspot.com

Yesterday, her interview with Mari Smith about Facebook drew many readers to my blogspot.

I met her at the Love is Murder conference a few years ago. Her Mom was also there and we all had a good time there.

  10. A weeek was the original plan but Angela been inundated with requests from so many other writers that she's probably going to feature others that week as well. I consider myself lucky to be featured there at all. :)
