But most of all, she writes. She was a teen journalist with a weekly newspaper. From there she moved on to books – suspense, mystery, thriller, romantic suspense. She’s also co-written a screenplay which is now with a film producer/director.
But her journey to published author has not been easy. It has taken work and perseverance. And she’ll be back tomorrow to tell us about it. She’ll be kicking off her tour here on Straight From Hel! And each of you will be able to enter the prize drawing she’s announcing.

Helen, talking about useful hints - you very kindly showed me how to do a link in a comment form. Do you have any idea of how to show a signature banner in the comment section and link it to my blog? I won a banner as a prize (it's up on my blog!) and it's been beautifully designed, but I just can't figure out how to use it in the comment section of somebody else's blog. :(

Judy, I'm not sure you can show a banner in a comment. You'll notice that here on Blogger, you're allowed to use common code like bolding, URLs, or italics. My guess is that a banner would be a lot more code than that. I could be wrong, though. If you've seen someone putting a banner in a comment, I recommend you go to their blog and ask them how they did it. Maybe other blogs not on Blogger but on other forums allow it. If you know the code for the banner, you might try going to a post on your own blog and try to leave it. If it comes out to be just code, you could always delete it since you're the owner of the blog.
