Best-Selling Books

You’d think there would be one best-sellers list, wouldn’t ya? Clearly, it might change each week (if not each day), but it’d be the same, right?

Nah.

Check out the USA Today’s top 50 list. Notice the top three:
1. "Fearless Fourteen" by Janet Evanovich (St. Martin's Press)(F-H)
2. "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer (Little, Brown) (F-P)
3. "New Moon" by Stephenie Meyer (Little Brown for Young Readers) (F-H)
Now, check out the Publishers Weekly List:
1. "Fearless Fourteen" by Janet Evanovich (St. Martin's Press)
2. "Sail" by James Patterson and Howard Roughan, (Little, Brown)
3. "Rogue" by Danielle Steel (Delacorte Press)
And the Wall Street Journal’s list:
1. "Fearless Fourteen" by Janet Evanovich (St. Martin's Press)
2. "Sail" by James Patterson and Howard Roughan, (Little, Brown) (F-H)
3. "TailSpin" by Catherine Coulter (Putnam)
Each one looks at different sales figures from different sources. The “top 50” is not exactly definitive. But at least we know Janet Evanovich is doing well!
